A+ Stem Labs

A+ STEM Labs was established in 2002, as a division of A+ Technology Solutions.   The idea was to create a portable technology and science cart that could be moved from room to room and was a fraction of the cost of renovating an entire classroom and dedicating it to science.  To date, there are more than 500 mobile labs integrated in the New York City school system.

Eagle Academy

The Eagle Academy for Young Men opened in the fall of 2004 after admitting its first freshman class. From there, Eagle developed into a full 4-year high school and moved to its current state-of-the-art flagship facility constructed in 2009. Starting during the 2011-2012 school year, the school opened its doors for its first 6th grade class. As of the 2013-2014 school year, Eagle serves all grades from 6 through 12.

The Eagle Academy for Young Men has expanded beyond its initial Bronx roots, opening three additional schools in Ocean Hill/Brownsville Brooklyn, South Jamaica Queens, and Newark, New Jersey. All schools are supported by the Eagle Academy Foundation, itself a result of the initial investment of a group of educators, parents, community leaders and corporate partners, led by the One Hundred Black Men, Inc.
